ART & DESIGN:

The ability to have the idea and create something beautiful from nothing has always fascinated me. For the last 20 years I have been lucky to meet and work with artists and designers, and I highly appreciate working with creative minds. During my 9 years working for  Royal Copenhagen and Georg Jensen, I was in close contact with famous designers such as Torun Bülow Hübe, who is my preferred designer & artist of all times. Later on I was responsible for an art gallery in Caracas Venezuela (in my spare time) where we had exhibitions with South American artists and raised money for the education of children in the barrios (slums) of Caracas.
I have worked with web designers and other creative people, while developing marketing campaigns and exhibitions, and have had the opportunity to get to know some very interesting artists. While owning a furniture company in Asia, I had the opportunity to choose and take part in the creative decision process while producing and sourcing furniture and various gift items for our company. I like to collect interesting design items, paintings, furniture glassware and porcelain. While I very much appreciate the clean modern Scandinavian design I also find myself attracted to other styles, and I mix and match. As an example I just love the Blue Fluted Porcelain from Royal Copenhagen, and I very much appreciate Art deco and Art Noveau artists like Lalique.
