Renewable Energy and fighting against climate change:

I am responsible for the sector renewable energy, environment and construction at the Danish Trade Council in Paris. As such I keep a close eye on the developments in these industries in France, Denmark and to a lesser extent worldwide.

For the past 4 years we have carried out a number of campaigns to promote and inform about renewable energy and energy efficiency. Denmark has acquired a large know-how in this area since we during the oilcrisis in the 1980-ties decided as a country to focus on distributed and local renewable energy.

We are often sollicited from energy agencies, gouvernment officials, compagnies and journalists to provide information about these areas. There is a close and beneficial exchange of know-how between Denmark and France which we do our best to enhance further.
